Emily Goss (actor, “The House on Pine Street”)
People should come and see my movie because: This film shows how much can be achieved by hard work, passion, creativity, and love – love for the craft, and love for community. We had an incredible story to tell and although the odds were against us we made it happen.
My perfect day includes: A long hike, a cup of tea, sunshine and sunscreen, being with friends, and cooking a big meal for a bunch of people. My perfect day does not include cell phones.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: Here it is, the impossible question… “American Beauty,” Emma Thompson’s “Sense and Sensibility,” and since we’re talking about horror, “The Shining.”
Before I die, I want to: Fall wonderfully in love.
“The House on Pine Street” will screen on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

Natalie Jones (writer, producer, “The House on Pine Street”)
People should come and see my movie because: It is a psychological horror and we are SO excited to be showing it in the midwest. We filmed the movie in Kansas City and making this movie would not have been possible if it weren’t for the warmth and generosity of this type of town. We have only been in Fargo for a few hours and it is already reminding us of home! Come get spooked with us!
My perfect day includes: A lot of puppies, good BBQ, meeting new people, and adding to my board game collection.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: “American Beauty,” “Pulp Fiction,” and “Forgetting Sarah Marshall.”
Before I die, I want to: Travel to every Disneyland in the world with Aaron and Austin!
“The House on Pine Street” will screen on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

Toby Jones (director, “AJ’s Infinite Summer”)
People should come and see my movie because: It is filled with absurd visual gags and it takes place in a town based on Fargo.

The three films that every moviemaker should see are: “The Apartment,” “The Thing,” and “House” (1977).
Before I die, I want to: Visit Sweden!
“AJ’s Infinite Summer” will screen on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m.

Aaron Keeling (writer, director, “The House on Pine Street”)
People should come and see my movie because: IT’S SCARY GOOD! If you love horror, this movie is for you. And if you don’t love horror, you might be surprised! There’s a lot more going on in this film than just “BOO!” so this movie could be for you too! We can’t wait to share our first feature film with Fargo audiences and we’d love it if you could be there with us!!!
My perfect day includes: Sleep, books, board games, music, dancing, wine, movies, family, and friends. Oh and dogs. All the dogs… And food. All the food… All the food and all the dogs and everything else listed before this. Oh, and throw in Disneyland too, then it’d be REALLY perfect.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: ”Synecdoche, New York,” because it’s big and loud and sad and happy and sexy and scary and funny and it’s about you and me and everyone and all of life and it’s amazing; “Magnolia,” for the same reasons. And “The Blair Witch Project,” because I think it’s the most effectively scary film ever made.
Before I die, I want to: Sorry to repeat what Austin and Natalie said, but the two things I want to do before I die are go to every Disneyland ever and make a ton of movies with Austin and Natalie!
“The House on Pine Street” will screen on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

Austin Keeling (writer, director, “The House on Pine Street”)
People should come and see my movie because: It’s spooky and twisty and fun and unique! We really tried to make a horror film that offered something new and fresh in the genre, and while the film works as a classical horror movie, it is also so much more. Come and see it!
My perfect day includes: Reading a good book, getting some successful writing done, eating a ton of delicious food (like…so much food), and spending time with amazing people.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: Oh this is a tough one. There are so many, but for now I’ll go with “The Blair Witch Project,” “Magnolia,” and “Mulholland Drive.”
Before I die, I want to: Write a book, become friends with Jennifer Lawrence, and make as many movies as possible with Aaron and Natalie!
“The House on Pine Street” will screen on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.

My perfect day includes: Exploring ancient ruins with my chihuahua by my side.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: ”Kumiko, the Treasure Hunters,” “The Chaperone,” and “The Overnighters.” It’s just an amazing coincidence that all three films are playing at the Fargo Film Festival this year.
Before I die, I want to: I don’t want to die. Why would you even suggest such a thing?
“Wicker Kittens” will screen on Friday, March 6 at 1:30 p.m.

Monique Thomas (production designer, “The House on Pine Street”)
People should come and see my movie because: It’s one of the best projects I’ve ever worked on, from the incredibly talented (and young) team that made it to the original and fresh story that breaths new life into the often stale horror genre. This movie really has a lot for every type of audience member, even non-horror fans will enjoy this movie because of Emily’s brilliant and believable performance as Jennifer, a pregnant woman losing her mind. We’re extremely proud of it and we can’t wait to share it with you!
My perfect day includes: Sleeping in, eating some delicious Indian food for lunch, catching a matinee, and then spending the rest of the day playing board games, having impromptu dance parties, and then finishing off the day watching a scary movie projected onto the wall.
The three films that every moviemaker should see are: ”Almost Famous,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” and “Some Like It Hot.”
Before I die, I want to: Travel the world and learn another language!
“The House on Pine Street” will screen on Wednesday, March 4 at 7 p.m.
