The Fargo Film Festival is excited to welcome Andrew Kightlinger to FFF 14 on March 8.
Born and raised in Madagascar before moving to South Dakota, Kightlinger has been a film director since 2008. His work has appeared at San Diego Comic-Con and the Palm Springs International ShortFest.
In 2013, he released his feature directorial debut, “Dust of War,” a post-apocalyptic adventure starring Tony Todd and Doug Jones. “Dust of War” premiered at Comic-Con and will play globally on DVD/VOD in 2014.
Additionally, his latest short “Paper People” was an official selection at the Academy Award-qualifying Palm Springs International ShortFest, as well as at 25 festivals nationwide.
Kightlinger’s upcoming projects include the short drama “Destroyer” starring Alan Ruck and Judith Hoag. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Boston University (2011) and a Bachelor of Arts in International Government and French from Augustana College in South Dakota (2008).
Kightlinger will be present for a Q & A immediately following the screening of “Dust of War” at 3:30 PM on Saturday, March 8 at the Historic Fargo Theatre.
